Summer Tumbling Program

10-Week Summer Gymnastics / Tumbling Program
June 5 – August 12, 2017

tumble84logoCome join us for our 10-Week Summer Gymnastics / Tumbling Program at Erie Premier Sports. Similar to our school year program, Tumble 84’s goal is to create a safe family environment that is fun, while improving skills as well as maintaining and establishing the fitness of the athlete throughout the summer months. This is also a good time for children new to gymnastics / tumbling to try it for the summer.

Gymnastics / tumbling is a great activity which helps improve physical fitness, as well as helps children learn life skills such as goal setting, overcoming fear, and it increases a child’s self esteem in a healthy and safe environment.

We have classes for all levels and abilities from Tiny Tumblers to Advanced. We reserve the right to combine classes if less than three participants are enrolled in a particular class.

Cost for entire 10-week program:

  • $110 for a 1-hour class, once per week
  • $160 for a 1.5-hour class, once per week
  • $185 for two (2) 1-hour classes, once per week

Tumbling Tots (Ages 3-5 Years Old)

An activity designed for the introductory familiarization of being in the gym. We are committed to the development of young tumblers physical skills with a nurturing environment to promote proper development with the reassuring assistance of a loved one near by.

Class Options:

  • Wednesday 10:00am – 10:45am
  • Wednesday 5:15pm – 6:00pm
  • Saturday 9:45am – 10:30am

Beginner Gymnastics / Tumbling

Our beginners program is all about learning and exploring in a fun and safe environment. Beginner tumblers learn the fundamental movement, basic motor skills, strength, flexibility and balance, while improving their listening skills and ability to follow directions. This class is intended to be a fun learning environment.

Class Options:

  • Monday 5:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Tuesday 5:30pm – 6:30pm
  • Wednesday 6:00pm – 7:00pm
  • Saturday 10:30am – 11:30am

Intermediate Gymnastics / Tumbling

This level introduces and enhances existing skills. This is a progressive approach specifically designed to help enhance motor skill, build strength, agility, balance and coordination. Students thrive in a fun environment developing basic gymnastics skill, learning to follow directions and proper use and safety of the equipment.

Class Options:

  • Monday 6:00pm – 7:00pm
  • Tuesday 6:30pm – 7:30pm
  • Wednesday 7:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Friday 6:00pm – 7:00pm
  • Saturday 11:30am – 12:30pm

Advanced Gymnastics / Tumbling

Prior experience is required. Intended to develop and maintain gymnastics skills in the advanced tumbler. Focus is on progressive skill development. Goals are to improve and acquire gymnastic skills.

Class Options:

  • Tuesday 4:30pm – 5:30pm
  • Tuesday 7:30pm – 8:30pm
  • Wednesday 8:00pm – 9:00pm

Intermediate Cheer Tumbling

This class will focus on cheer tumbling with a progressive approach specifically designed to help enhance a cheerleaders current skills, along with balance, coordination, agility and strength building.

Skill progressions include handstand, rolls, cartwheels, back-bends, walkovers, round-offs, running tumbling, and intro to the back-handspring.

  • Thursday 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Advanced Cheer Tumbling

This class will focus on cheer tumbling with a progressive approach specifically designed to help enhance a cheerleaders current skills, along with balance, coordination, agility and strength building.

Skill progressions include standing back-handspring, round off back-handspring, tucks, aerials and lay-outs.

  • Thursday 8:00pm – 9:00pm

Jr./Sr. Advanced Gymnastics / Tumbling (1.5-hour long class)

Prior experience is required for this 1.5-hour long class. Intended to develop and maintain gymnastics skills in the advanced tumbler. Focus is on progressive skill development.

Prerequisites include unassisted handstand, back-bend, back-bend kick over and back-handspring either alone or with a light spot. Skills progressions include the standing back-handspring, round off back-handspring, tucks, aerials, and lay-outs.

Class Options:

  • Monday 7:00pm – 8:30pm
  • Thursday 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Summer Open Gyms

  • Tiny Tumblers (18 months – 4 years)
  • Open Gym (5 years and older)
